Turkey Trot video

I love how Annie helps Wesley and Shannon so the won't "lose the race"

Thanksgiving reunion part 2

Thanksgiving day started off with a fun run and eating muffins at a local park. The kids were great sports and it was nice to get a little energy out.

I cannot get enough of this sweet girl!

Lauren and Whitney showing off their medals. Seriously the sweetest girls in the world.

Like Wesley's sunglasses? only way he would sit there. Wes won the award for most "athletic" he was EVERYWHERE including crawling through a drain, lovely.

Gotta love self-timer :)

Trying to get a picture with all 10 grandkids

Thanksgiving dinner turned out amazing. Natalie did the turkey and seriously it turned out amazing. It gave me some motivation to do my first one next year.

The day after Thanksgiving the women (including Whitney and Lauren) went shopping and the men stayed home with Grandpa and Grandma to watch the kids. Later that night Grandma and Grandpa were brave and watched all 10 kids. Super-Grandparents even made a fun fort for them.
Later that night the adults played games and the kids zoned in on some movies. Love this picture, ha ha.

Not pictured in these post are the men enjoying a Rockets game, the kids loving on Uncle Todd,  Owen having a blow-out on Grandpa, family pictures, and lots more fun.

Thanksgiving reunion part one

We had a fun reunion with Phil's siblings and their families over Thanksgiving last week. We haven't seen them in about 1 1/2 yrs so this was much needed! Wesley loved all the cousin time and wanted to be right with the big kids. I especially loved seeing Wes with his cousin Shannon (born 4 days before Wes) and Ella (7 months younger). They were pretty sweet together. Some of my favorite moments were spent chatting with Phil's sisters, playing games, and watching the kids play together. We loved having all our nieces and nephews around. They are the sweetest kids and we miss them already.

The Saturday before Thanksgiving we went to the Tomball parade. The kids loved it and I can see that becoming a tradition in our family.

(out of order) Annie spent a week at Grandma's before the rest of the family joined us. Wesley LOVES her and she was so sweet to read him books. Annie turned 5 the end of September and is an excellent reader, love her!

Monday we took all the kids to Old McDonald's Farm. The kids loved running free, feeding animals, riding the train, and riding ponies (minus Wesley who was scared of the pony.. strange because he's done it like 3 times before).

Cute little Shannon

Wes was obsessed with this cute toddler area full of sand toys. He came home covered in sand and  we put him right in the bath.

Sweet Whitney rode with Wesley on the train. Seriously the highlight of the day, Wes was in heaven!

9 out of 10 Grand-kids, sorry Owen maybe next time.

On Tuesday we had the kids create their own cars out of cardboard boxes. Later that night Mom and Bob rented as blow-up screen and projector so we could have our own little backyard drive in. The kids were so creative with their cars and loved every bit of it. We watched Princess Bride and then surprised Mom and Bob with some videos for their 20th anniversary. Natalie made an awesome music video from clips we all sent her and Phil put together a slide show of old and new photos and videos. It was a perfect night celebrating 2 amazing people.

Sweet Ella

Owen was giving Grandma the biggest smiles!

Lauren was so sweet with Wes. He loves her.

Owen's Blessing Day

On the 4th of November Owen Robert Harrison was given a name and a blessing. I am thankful that Phil was able to perform this sacred ordinance and that we had family there to witness this beautiful day. We are so happy Owen in in our family.

Love my sweet parents.

With Grandma and Grandpa Decker. Owen's middle name Robert is named after Grandpa Decker.

An attempt at a group shot. One of my sweet YW took this. We had no idea how bad out grouping was, poor Dad and Bob are cut off.

A mini photo shoot with the blanket Grandma Harrison made for him. It is so beautiful!

little jacket from sweet Auntie Tina

We kept saying "cheese" trying to get me to take his picture instead of Owen's. Love this cute boy.
