Missing them already

These cute kids (and their parents of course) came to visit a little over a week ago. We are already going through withdrawals without them. Even Rosie looks for them when we go over to Mom and Bob's. Thanks for coming in town Natalie and Tyler. We loved seeing you all.

Utah Trip

Phil's work sent him out to recruit at BYU so I tagged along.

Day 1:
BoldQuick visit to Orem to see Heather and Kyle. Lunch and shopping with my Grandma. Later that night I hung out with my fun parents.
Day 2:
Fun day with Ashley. I need more days like these. That night I enjoyed some quality time with my mom.
Day 3: Craft time with my Mom and sistersLate night girls night with these fun ladies... I miss you girls so much, we need to see each other more often.
Day 4:

We spent the day 4-wheeling with the fam. We had so much fun and it was so relaxing. Too bad Britt couldn't make it. Dinner at Spaghetti Factory with the WHOLE family after 4-wheeling.
Day 5:
To start the day off right we went to church with Phil's Nana and Grampa. I am so mad at myself for not taking any pictures.
That night my Mom had a big family get together.
Me and my cute cousins. I wish you three could have come home with me, I miss you so much.
It's not a family get together without rock band :)

We had so much fun in Utah. There never seems to be enough time to see all the people we want to. Sorry to those we didn't see, we love you and hope to see you over Thanksgiving.

My Walgreen's experience

Have you ever talked to a lonely, kind elderly man wearing one of these?
Yes, if you cannot tell that is a clown wig. Today I stopped by Walgreen's on my way home to grab some milk and a prescription. While I waited in line an nice elderly man, wearing one of those colorful wigs and an eye patch, talked my ear off for about 15 minutes. I have a weakness for the elderly and I couldn't bring myself to cut the conversation off when I was finished at the pharmacy. He ended up following me to the cashier and then ran out to his truck and came back in to give me this.
Apparently he sells watermelons and wears his clown wig to attract buyers.

Moral of the story- if you run into an elderly man wearing a clown wig please talk to him because it will make his day. Also you might just leave with a huge watermelon and that will make your day. I felt kinda bad talking it for free but he insisted.
