My boys

Here are some pictures of my boys in the same outfits around the same age. It's hard to believe Wesley was ever that small!

Wesley- 23 Months

Wes has grown in so many ways this past month. He has gone up a size in clothes, is talking lots more, and is looking more like a little boy and less like my baby.

Wesley is a loving big brother. He thinks Owen is pretty neat and loves softly touching his hands or feet and giving him soft head taps. He has however struggled sharing the attention (which is pretty normal I would assume). The first 2 weeks were harder and anytime Phil or I were busy doing something for Owen (feeding/changing diaper) he would act out. Normally his "acting out" (really just trying to get attention) would be by doing something to Owen's things. He would climb into Owen's swing, kick the car seat, throw toys in Owen's crib, have a tantrum in Owen's room, etc. Luckily this week has been a lot better and instead of throwing a tantrum he just sweetly hugged Owen and then said "bye-bye baby" Ha-Ha. Needless to say, it has been an adjustment for him. Despite having to share his parents, we can tell Wesley loves his brother and thinks he is pretty neat.

Wesley's favorite things to do are reading books, doing puzzles, playing trains/cars, jumping on the trampoline and doing flash cards. I try to either read or do puzzles with him while I nurse Owen. Wesley loves this time and as soon as I sit down to nurse Owen he runs over with some activity for us to do, sweet boy.

He loves helping me in the kitchen

Such a goofball

Loves reading books

obsessed with the washer and dryer

Wes helped me the other day make chocolate dipped pretzels for a friend's birthday. He was in heaven.

So pleased with his work

Baby O- 2 weeks

Owen turned 2 weeks this past Friday and also had his 2 week check up. He slept through most of the check up (even while he got his heel pricked).

His Stats:
height- 20.25" 34%
weight- 7lbs 14.5 oz 26% ( he was born at 7lbs 9oz and when we went to the pediatrician the day after we left the hospital he was down to 6 lbs 15 oz so this was great news!)

Owen has picked up the nickname "O baby". I think it originally started because Wesley loves the letter O and he tends to call Owen "baby" or "Ow" (when trying to say Owen).

Owen is such a good baby. The past few days he has got into a schedule that has been giving us more sleep!  His days starts at 7am and nurses every 3 hours until 7 and the nurses again at 9. He has been read for bed by 10 and wakes up to nurse between 2 and 3am. I can do this :)

He rarely cries but when he does it's pretty powerful (which is normally when we are in the car, he is not a fan of the car seat).

We are slowly figuring out being parents to 2. Luckily Phil still has 1.5 weeks off or I'd be in trouble!

I cannot get enough of his sweet face. He is always giving us little smirks.

Loves sleeping in the swing

Wesley loves his brother and gives him soft head taps.

Wesley giving Owen another "hug" with his head.

These were from tonight. He is becoming much more alert.

Loves tummy time
