Longest drive of our life

Right after getting home from Las Vegas we had to finish up packing and drive to Texas. We (meaning Phil) drove this insanely huge truck all the way from Provo, UT to Houston, TX. We thought that drive would never end. I was too scared to try to drive the truck and I doubt Phil would have even let me since I'd probably kill us or something. So instead I played DJ and tried to stay up as long as I could. We thought we could drive straight through with taking a few hour breaks to sleep. WRONG!! We left Thursday night and didn't get to Houston until 2:00pm on Saturday! After all of that driving and no sleep or showers we had to unload the truck in the rain! Thankfully Phil's parents were there to save the day and help us out. After that Phil went and helped the Canes (the family we shared the truck with) unload their stuff and they lived on the 3rd floor of an apartment. We survived this adventure but it makes us want to throw everything away next time we move so we don't have to cart it across the country.

Hey! I'm glad you guys are blogging! Keep the updates coming. I'm so glad you guys endured that road trip. I wimp out at the thought of driving to So Cal in a normal car. Driving a HUGE moving van to Texas is out of control! :)
