Fall Festivities

This past weekend was so busy! We packed in as much Halloween fun as we could!

We went to The Oil Ranch with a play group. Wes got to ride his first pony. It was so funny, he wasn't sure what to think about it.

It POURED while we were there (notice the big dark cloud behind us).

Wes was so tired that on the walk back to the car he passed out in his stroller. Poor guy, playing is hard stuff.

Saturday night we made some yummy caramel apples with friends. It was so much fun. Wesley was so cute and played the whole night with the kids, didn't even want to be by us. He even taught himself how to climb stairs at their house (since we don't have any).

(I stole this one from Sunnie's blog)

On Sunday morning I made Halloween pancakes.

Wes ate with a plate for the first time and did very well... until he was done eating the pancakes and he tried to throw the plate.

On Halloween night we sat outside and handed out candy. Wesley thought it was fun and even tried to get some candy from the bowl.

Rosie even dressed up...

Here's the little werewolf crawling around.

The weekend was so much fun. It is nice to slow down for a bit though.

The big smile on your face is quite a contrast to the terror on Wesley. He is so brave to try new things.
