Owen Newborn Pictures

I still have a few announcements to send out but have been wanting to post these pictures for sometime now. Thanks so much April for the amazing pictures. These were taken when he was one week old.

O Baby- 2 months

Owen had his 2 month check up 2 weeks ago. Yeah I a little behind in blogging :)

Rolls over from tummy to back

Loves bath time

Sleeps at least 6-8 hrs at night

Ashley & Charlotte visit

My bestest friend Ashley and her daughter Charlotte visited a week ago. We had so much fun shopping, going on diet-coke runs, watching our toddlers play together, and even got a date without the kiddos (thanks Phil). It's always fun to have a little girl around the house. Charlotte was in love with Owen and was very concerned about him. I loved seeing Charlotte and Wes play together, makes me sad we don't live closer. 

This picture cracks me up. Wes was sad because he wanted his new toy AND Charlotte"s, naughty!

At this cute play place in the Galleria mall.

 In the mother's lounge at Nordstrom. I love that Charlotte is playing in the sink and Wesley is zoned in on a movie.

 Thanks so much to Phil's mom for letting us borrow her van! Wes was pretty sad when we returned it, ha ha.

Watching Finding Nemo, he was scared of the sharks but couldn't stop watching.

Wes misses having his buddy around.

If you can't tell Charlotte LOVED holding Owen. She said "baby" about a million times a day, so cute.

Big 30

Phil turned 30 last week! We started the weekend of celebrations with a surprise party with some of our closet friends. Phil thought we were going out just the two of us but our friends were waiting to surprise him at the restaurant. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for watching the boys! We had lots of fun chatting with our friends and enjoying yummy food. I love when I can surprise him because normally I cannot keep much from him because I'm too excited and ruin it. Thank you friends for making it a great night!

Saturday we went out to lunch and had a fun family day. Then on Sunday we went over to Phil's parents and celebrated with them and his brother Todd. Wes loved the present opening but was a little disappointed when he realized they weren't for him. Phil's mom got him a cookie cake (a family favorite tradition). side note- Wes loved that too much and when we got home he tried to sneak some and the whole cookie cake fell face down on the kitchen floor (naughty naughty). And lastly on Monday, his actual birthday, the boys and I met him downtown for some lunch at Hard Rock Cafe and topped off the night with his favorite Blue Bell Cookies and Cream ice cream.

The boys and I are so blessed to have Phil in our lives. He is a great Husband and Father! Thanks for all you do at home and at work for our family.

Seriously some of the yummiest cupcakes I've ever made. Sour cream chocolate cake with butter-cream dream frosting w/ crushed Oreos mixed in, dangerous.

this picture cracks me up because we asked a waitress to take our picture. I guess she had never seen a SLR before because she held it out like 3 feet from her face and just snapped a few.
