22 Months

I cannot believe Wesley will be 2 years old in two months! It seems like yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital and now he's this toddler who is about to be a big brother! I guess once he turns two I will stop going off of months for his age?

This past month he...

• Started a clingy phase... perfect timing huh? He gets anxious if he thinks Phil or I are leaving and has started crying when we take him to nursery. He has always LOVED nursery so this is very strange for us.
• Always has to take some toy with him when we go in the car. Sometime just a small car will do, other times he demands his larger fisher price airplane. Or the funniest was when he tried taking his ride on rocket ship with us (sorry buddy that one isn't happening).
• has developed quite a sweet tooth. He never use to pay much a attention to sweets but lately if he sees cookies, ice cream, candy etc he HAS to to have it.
• Is starting to talk more and mimics a lot of what I say
• Is obsessed with watching family home videos
• Knows almost all of the letters sounds. It is so cute how much he loves letters. I've said it a million times but it's like they are his friends. He gets so excited when he sees any letter and points it right out.
• has only had his binki in bed for the past 10 months but is getting more attached and tries to sneak it constantly. I have a feeling this will be a hard one when baby brother has it all day and he cannot.

Wesley is so much fun and cracks us up all day. He is always doing a goofy face or trying to get our attention. I just love this boy!

Asks to brush his teeth several times a day

Relaxing with Dad

So tired but found a way to play and relax

We heard Wes grunting the other day and found him in his room trying to get out of the laundry basket. Why he went in there we have no idea.

AC broke down so we were trapped in the family room for 9 hours so Rosie wouldn't run outside and so Wes wouldn't climb up the attic ladder. We watched a lot of Toy Story.

Stinker found crayons and colored on the window seal.

Pushes this chair around the house to get into everything

So happy he got his way, had to take his pillow and airplane in the car.

Wesley thinks Baby bump is a pillow. He also enjoys making his cars drive on my belly.

Cannot wait to see what this little man thinks of his baby brother! Can't believe next week I will have two boys!
