I've been wanting to post these pictures for a while but kept forgetting to get them from Bob! We had so much fun over Christmas break with Phil's parents. One of the days we went to the Aquarium. Wesley loved every minute of it.

Recently...
Here are some pictures taken from my phone from the past week to give you an idea of what we've been up to lately.
Went out to breakfast for a good friends birthday. The kids loved playing in the fountains and Wesley left soaked.
Wes got his head stuck TWICE in the doggy door.
Wes loves Rosie. One day he tried to give her a hug, she stood up and he just laid underneath her.
We've been enjoying the nice weather and have been in the back yard a ton.
Wesley could munch on pretzels all day.
First owie of the summer.
Spending lots of time laying on mommy in the morning.
We've been enjoying lots of summery dishes.
I went to a fun Favorites Thing party and this is what I brought (they are salt and pepper shakers).
Wesley has loved using a fork lately and on this particular day he wanted 2 forks. And yes he is still in his pajamas at lunch in this photo, ha ha.
Kind of a random post but that's what our life has been like recently.

St. Patrick's Day!
I LOVE holidays, every holiday. I love making them special and enjoying them with family. Growing up my mom always made a green dinner. I have continued this tradition ever since we got married and it is so much more fun with Wesley around now! Another fun thing about St. Patrick's day is that Phil and I had our first official date the day before St. Patty's day (6 years ago). It is always fun to remember that day. Phil was such a trooper and took me to Walmart after dinner so I could get decorations for my work St. Patrick's day party. I knew that day he was a keeper ;-).
For breakfast we had yummy green waffles and fruit. We also had a few treats laid out for us when we woke up.
We gave Lucky Charms with a tag that said, " I'm LUCKY to have you as my friend" to a few of our friends.
Later that night we had a green dinner and invited Phil's parents. We had a green salad, asparagus, green mashed potatoes, lime-aid and yummy meatballs.
My boys in green. Unfortunately it was taken on my phone so kinda fuzzy.
We also enjoyed a "green" movie by taking Wesley to see the Lorax with Phil's parents. It was a cute show and I have never seen Wes sit so still. He LOVED it!

Charlotte and Wesley at Grandma and Grandpa Deckers
Here are some fun pictures Bob took while they watched the kiddos. A few of them are from us visiting for Sunday dinner as well. We are so thankful to have Phil's parents so close. They are so much fun and if you cannot tell from the pictures the kids love them.
Cute Charlotte LOVED the bubbles
Wes being a boy had to shoot the bubble gun
I love the excitement in Charlotte's face

Ashley and Charlotte's Visit
Ashley and I have been friends for at least 10 years. We spent almost everyday together in high school and were college roommates. It worked out perfectly that we were pregnant at the same time and that our babies were born 6 weeks apart. We get to see them almost every time I visit Utah but we never have as much time as we want. So naturally it was a dream for her to visit us in Texas. We had a week and a half of fun. We loved seeing the kids play together and it was so nice to have a friend to do everything with. Wesley is in love with Charlotte. He gave her so many hugs while they were here. It broke my heart to see them leave because I knew Wes would be lonely without Charlotte. We also loved having a little girl in the house. Charlotte even gave Phil some good cuddles. She is such a sweet girl.
Ashley, Phil and I went to the rodeo and saw The Eli Young Band. Phil's parents were so sweet to watch the kids. I'll have to get some pictures from them because the kids had a blast with them.
The next day we went to the Zoo. The kids loved it, especially getting to run around in the petting zoo.
They loved bath time together.
They are definitely partners in crime. Wes would open up the dishwasher, stand on it, and had clean dishes to Charlotte.
Phil was so sweet and let us have a girls night. It was so nice to go out to dinner without the kids.
They would start playing as soon as they woke up.
Getting into things again
They wanted to get on the rocking horse together. It was seriously the cutest thing ever.
We got Wes and Charlotte Chucks at the outlet mall. I couldn't stop smiling when I saw little Charlotte in her skirt and pink Chucks. Her legs made me melt.
Double seats at the grocery store = best idea ever!
After a long day of shopping we rewarded them by playing at the park.
We are so glad they were able to visit and miss them already. Wes keeps going into the guest room expecting to see them.
